Angel is a second-year Aerospace Engineering major at UC Irvine. As a recipient of the Rose Hills Scholarship, he was beyond grateful for the opportunity to gain a scholarship that assisted with paying tuition and demonstrating that his hard work is paying off. Angel is an active member of the UCI Rocketry Lab, contributing to launches and overseeing recovery projects.
Julia is a fourth-year Earth System Science major at UC Irvine. As a recipient of the Reward Opportunity Advancing Distinguished Students Scholarship, she appreciates how the scholarship alleviated financial pressures and allowed her to devote more attention to her studies. Julia is an active environmental advocate at UCI, contributing to the Sunrise Movement while engaging in climate research through the Paleoceanography Lab and radiocarbon analysis in the Claudia Czimczik Lab.
